An expert guide in museum accessibility leads visitors to the knowledge of Palazzo Venezia through a multi-sensory approach. The journey begins in the garden to recognise, among the many species, the bristly barks of japanese palms, the sweet scent of magnolia flowers, and the serrated leaves of acanthus plants. From here, the exploration continues with the tactile examination of Loggia Grande and the story of the building's founder, Pope Paulus II Barbo. Finally, inside, participants refine their plantar tactile sense on certain details of the floors, identify the decorative motifs on the door frames, and compare the types, weaves, and textures of the different materials used from the renaissance to today. The tour was also developed in collaboration with UICI – Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted, to make vive increasingly accessible and inclusive.
