Tactile experience at the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento

Art and History at the Service of All
Tactile visit for families
Saturday 7 September, 10.30 a.m.

A journey to understand how Italy became a united and independent nation and get to know its heroes, from Giuseppe Mazzini to Giuseppe Garibaldi, from the Count of Cavour to Victor Emmanuel II.
The visit to the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento allows us to learn more about this period of national history: through the tactile experience of marble busts and bronze sketches and listening to sources, stories, anecdotes and musical pieces, we can reconstruct the appearance and clothing of the protagonists and the entire context of the time.
The tour, led by an expert guide in museum accessibility, has also been developed in collaboration with UICI - Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti (Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired) to make VIVE more accessible and inclusive.
