Palazzo Venezia in Italian Sign Language

Art and History at the service of all
- Saturday 17 June, 11 am

For many centuries the residence of popes, cardinals, ambassadors and artists, Palazzo Venezia is an ancient and majestic Renaissance residence in the heart of Rome.  Few buildings in the city, if any, contain such a heritage of history, art and culture. Thanks to the narration of our guide - a specialised deaf educator- the severe and imposing façades, resembling the walls of an ancient fortress, open to reveal within a complex of loggias, walkways and gardens, with precious plants and shrubs, rooms so large that they take your breath away, and masterpieces from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the 20th century. Visitors leave the traffic behind and are guided along the thread of a subtle narrative balanced between dream and admiration.
