National Landscape Day at VIVE - A Garden of My Own

On 14 March, on the occasion of National Landscape Day, instituted by the MiC, VIVE invites adults and children to participate in the events that enhance the natural and artistic heritage of Palazzo Venezia with the aim of "promoting the culture of landscape in all its forms and raising awareness of the issues related to it".

An animated story accompanies participants in the discovery of Palazzo Venezia and its gardens on a journey through art and nature. Passing through the majestic halls, the children go in search of the colors and plant forms that have inspired great artists in the creation of the palace's frescoes and decorations. They arrive in enchanted gardens inhabited by palms, magnolias, cedars, camellias and box hedges where light and shadow play between the shapes of leaves, plant forms and the colors of berries and flowers. In the workshop the young participants, using dedicated support and an original water coloring technique, create personal gardens.
