Moonlight Postcards at the Vittoriano

The Vittoriano was designed by architect Giuseppe Sacconi in honour of the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II in 1882-1883: work was not completed until the 1930s. Considered the highest symbol of united and independent Italy, the Vittoriano represents a pivotal place in the collective imagination of the nation. Young and old are invited to discover its history, architecture and art through an animated narrative tailor-made for them. Visitors will experience a journey through time, during which they will walk along stairways and panoramic terraces, admiring the city from above. Finally they will reinvent the places of exploration through the creation of illustrated postcards, full of suggestions and colours.

The cost of the visit is 5 euro, in addition to the cost of the VIVE. entrance ticket.

Please note that up to the age of 18, the entrance fee is free of charge, and between 18 and 25, it is only 4 euros.
