A series of short guided tours of Palazzo Venezia

A kaleidoscope of short visits to offer a glance on the many shades of Palazzo Venezia, its complex history, the events and personalities that have animated the palace in its six centuries of history. Each itinerary illustrates / focuses / examines a part of the building,  a specific period, or a specific argument. Following the guides walking in the moonlight through the halls illuminated by the majestic chandeliers or through the arches of the Viridarium,  you can find out about the conspiracy against Paul II, about court banquets and masked balls that took place in these halls.

7:30 pm- The papal residence: the private apartment.
7.45 pm - The papal residence: the reception rooms.
8:10 pm- Architecture of the fifteenth century: the Loggia and the Viridarium of Paul II.
8:30 pm - The Embassy of the Serenissima in Rome.
8:50 pm - Italy-Austria: a difficult relationship.
9.15 pm - When restoration is an art: the twentieth century at Palazzo Venezia.
9:30 pm- The apartment of the cardinals from the sixteenth century to the Art Deco.

Information and reservations

Our family-oriented activities are included in the admission ticket, subject to availability. On September 24, for the European Heritage Days, admission will cost the symbolic amount of 1 euro.
