VIVE is participating in the fourth edition of "Adventures among the Pages - Let's Read at the Museum", promoted by Kid Pass Culture and Kid Pass Association. The educational staff of VIVE is providing a customized tour that will lead families on a discovery-filled tour of the Palazzo Venezia's exhibits.
What causes a collection to exist? A chamber of wonders is what? Collecting Wonders will provide answers to these and other concerns during a tour of Palazzo Venezia that begins with an animated reading of the book "Monsters & Wonders. Time-traveling cabinets of curiosities "by Delphine Jacquot and Alexandre Galand, a must-read and must-see book to journey among wonder rooms, cabinets of curiosities, collections, and museums. The tour and workshop activity will thereafter take place inside the Museum's halls. People will be able to learn that each collection is frequently a reflection of the collector's interests as well as of an age, a philosophy, and a shared emotion, both yesterday and today, through porcelain, silverware, majolica, bronzes, an armory, and even a Sea Monster. In an unique project, children and adults can build a family collection to house the "wonders" of the Palazzo Venezia Museum.
