The Central Museum of the Risorgimento

Guided tour on weekend in Italian and in English

Set up in the imposing upper gallery, the museum allows you to retrace the history of independence and the unity of Italy from the end of the 18th century to the First World War. Objects, documents, artworks and unique relics tell the stages of the Risorgimento and the personal stories of some of its main characters. From the uniforms of Garibaldi's soldiers to the cannon carriage used to carry the coffin of the Unknown Soldier - this visit is a journey into the memory and is particularly interesting for those who love history. 

WHEN: 3,10 and 24 April
TIME:4:00 pm, 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm (in Italian).

WHERE: The Central Museum of the Risorgimento.
MEETING POINT: ticket office of the Panoramic Terrace of the Vittoriano.

Information and reservations

Visits are included in the entrance ticket, subject to availability. 

On April 3, on the first Sunday of the month, the guided tour is free without reservation and does not require the purchase of an entrance ticket.  

Visitors are invited to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour
