VIVE is located in the exact center of Rome and brings together the two most iconic buildings in Piazza Venezia: Palazzo Venezia and Vittoriano. The itinerary begins at Palazzo Venezia—a majestic Renaissance residence that, over the centuries, has housed cardinals, popes, and ambassadors—from its gardens to its loggias, from the monumental halls to its art collections and continues with Vittoriano, a monument to the first King of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II and the guardian of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Here, visitors can appreciate the architectural quality of the project by Giuseppe Sacconi and the great Italian sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries, pause before the memories of national history, and ascend to the Panoramic Terrace to enjoy the most spectacular 360° view of Rome and its millennia-old urban fabric.
