Bronzes, majolica, silver and terracotta: Palazzo Venezia houses one of the richest collections of applied arts in the Capital. From the Middle Ages to the Baroque, from East to West, the museum collects artistic masterpieces that constitute a vast intangible heritage of traditions, knowledge, and techniques from past centuries. Strolling through the evocative environments of the majestic Renaissance residence, visitors are led to discover the knowledge and practices hidden behind the creation of an artistic artifact: the processing of precious metals, the terracotta studies for Bernini's large marble works, the decorative techniques of ceramics and majolica from the main Italian and European workshops.
