In line with the theme of the 2023 edition of the European Heritage Days promoted by the Ministry of Culture, which celebrates "Living Heritage" the VIVE Institute offers the public an opportunity to visit with the education team the Palazzo Venezia branch of the Library of Archaeology and Art History (BiASA), which holds an invaluable cultural heritage.
The itinerary reveals to visitors the history of the birth of this important place of preservation and transmission of knowledge, considered the most important public institute, nationwide, for the research and study of archaeological, architectural, artistic and historical-artistic disciplines. Entering the library will allow visitors to immerse themselves in a Renaissance atmosphere, passing through the majestic reading rooms that were once home to the private apartment of Pope Paul II, as well as the rooms of the so-called Torre della Biscia.
