Bust of Gaetano Carolei, Gold Medal of Military Valour recipient, by Roberto Melli

The expressive power of a great artist, Roberto Melli, celebrates one of the Italian heroes of the First World War, awarded the Gold Medal of Military Valour.

The bust was made by Roberto Melli (1885-1958) as part of the "War and Victory" competition launched in 1934.
