The celebration of Palazzo Te's 500th anniversary provided an opportunity to explore the various interpretations of this enigmatic, total work of art where architecture, painting, and literature converge. This presentation is an inquiry into the contemporary meaning of cultural heritage.

Stefano Baia Curioni is an associate professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Bocconi University and the Director of Fondazione Palazzo Te in Mantua. For over 25 years, he has been dedicated to studying the transformation processes of cultural production systems.
