From 8 November 2024 to 25 April 2025 at the Vittoriano, Sala Zanardelli, and at Palazzo Venezia, Sala Regia.
From 8 November 2024 to 25 April 2025 the spaces of VIVE (Sala Zanardelli at the Vittoriano and Sala Regia at Palazzo Venezia) will host Guglielmo Marconi. Seeing the Invisible, an exhibition promoted by the Ministry of Culture and organised and produced by Cinecittà and Archivio Luce, with the patronage and contribution of the Marconi.150 National Committee and the collaboration of the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation.
The exhibition presents hundreds of documents, photos, artefacts and films from illustrious national and international archives, to explore the human aspect and entrepreneurial adventure of the Bolognese inventor. A tribute to the Italian genius who changed the world. A tribute that celebrates not only the lord of the Wireless and father of the Radio, but also the curious and visionary young man.
Through different media and languages, the exhibition - in eight sections - guides visitors back through the life of Guglielmo Marconi. From his youth to the transatlantic conquest, the exhibition highlights his profile as a startupper and as a statesman, exploring the chapters that brought him to international prominence as well as his more private ones, without neglecting his bond with the sea or his extraordinary legacy, still so palpable today.
Exhibition visiting hours: Every day (Monday-Sunday) from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm (Last admission at 6:45 pm).
